Let me ask you a question, how many times have you scrolled through Instagram and been ‘influenced’ by nutritional advice being offered? And how many times have you double checked to see the credentials behind this advice?
It seems we can’t go a day without someone telling us the ‘10 things that are ruining our diet’, or ‘what food groups to avoid at all costs.’ We’re in the middle of the age of information overload, and it can feel confusing to know exactly what will work. After hearing so many people not knowing the next best steps to take, I came up with my own solution.
After 10 years in the science field in both food and medicine, and recently completing a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics, I have now dedicated my expertise towards changing the way people interact with food.
Being a representative for NSW health, a consultant for the Agency of Clinical Innovation and a published scientific author I aim to provide evidenced based advice that actually works. In other words, I’ll sift through all the false claims for you, and present you with the truth.
Whether the goal is weight loss, gut health, or diabetes management, this is a judgement-free zone, full of realistic approaches and no “life hacks” to speak of. There’s no quick fix, or one size fits all solution, which is why I tailor each plan to the individual in a long term collaboration. No two people are the same, so why should their diets be? Stop taking shots in the dark, and do it the right way. Your relationship with food is one of the longest you’ll have in your life, you might as well make it a good one.
