My Journey

I began my career as a Food and Medical Scientist, where I became an expert of biochemistry and endocrinology markers.

When I was not conducting research, you would find me presenting at national and international conferences, acting as a consultant on the national Advisory Committee for Biogenic Amines and Vitamins, as well as the NSW health pathology representative consultant for the Agency for Clinical Innovation in the field of Test Diets in which I reviews dietary requirements for various scientific tests.

I also author and contribute to many pioneering scientific papers and my work can be found in Journal of endocrine society, Journal of hormone and metabolic research and molecular genetics and metabolism (see publications).  â€‹

My love for health and nutrition lead me to study a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics and since then I moved into the nutrition space.

Initially, I began as a Public health Dietitian and speaker for an online wellness series, shortly after which I moved into Aged care. After some time; I moved into the rehabilitation space at a hospital as a Clinical Dietitian; where I worked with patients requiring neurological rehabilitation.

From here I moved into the private sector, whilst simultaneously setting up my own private practice 'Talia Braun Nutrition'.

I currently work as a Private Practice Dietitian, where I work with adults in areas of  body composition, disordered eating, improving your relationship with food (see full list of experience on experience page).

I also work as a Paediatric Dietitian, where I specialise in fussy eating related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention deficit Hyperactive disorder (ADHD).

In addition to this I am  passionate about working with vulnerable populations and am a registered NDIS provider.

I work to deliver an exceptional patient experience with personalized, evidenced based, holistic care and support and I would be honoured to work with you.
