MEDICARE - CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT (GPMP/TCA)
Talia is a registered Medicare provider and offers Medicare rebates - if referred from a General Practitioner (GP) on a General Practitioner Management Plan (GPMP) or a Team care arrangement (TCA).
You might be eligible for a TCA or GPMP If you have had a Chronic medical condition that has been present for at least 6 months. This includes:
Talk to your GP to see if you are eligible for a TCA/GPMP to receive a Medicare rebate for a maximum of five Allied Health Services per Calendar year.
PRIVATE HEALTH FUNDS
Most Australian Private Health Funds give a rebate for visits to Accredited Practicing Dietitians, dependent on your level of health cover.
Before booking, please check with your Private Health Fund if they support online dietetic consultations.
Additionally, your receipt will be emailed to you, which you’ll need to lodge with your health fund provider.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) rebates
As a registered NDIS provider my services are 100% funded by the NDIS. If you have NDIS funding you can access our dietetics services at with no gap fee. Services are charged at the current standard NDIS price per hour.
NDIS participants can access funding for dietetic services under the following support categories:
Capacity building: Improved health and wellbeing
Core support: Improved daily living (includes childhood early intervention)
Core: Assistance with daily life
DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS (DVA)
The Department of Veterans' Affairs may cover the costs to see an APD if you have a referral from a GP for an assessed clinical need and a Veteran Gold Card.
